The Add-on processes content within Google Docs documents, including but not limited to, headings, lists, italicized text, bold text, blockquotes, and code blocks, to format text based on Markdown syntax. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or document content to external servers. All processing is done locally within your Google Docs environment.
How We Use Information
The Add-on uses the information (document content) as follows:
To apply formatting based on Markdown syntax directly within your Google Docs document.
Sharing of Information
All processing is done using Google Apps Scripts within your document meaning that none of your document is stored or sent to us.
We do not share or transmit any information outside of the Google Docs environment. The content remains within your control and is governed by your Google Docs settings and Google's privacy policy.
Your Choices and Controls
As the Add-on operates entirely within your Google Docs environment, you have control over the documents you choose to format using the Add-on. You can manage the Add-on's access to your Google Docs through your Google Account's add-on settings.
Data Retention
The Add-on does not retain any data. All actions are performed in real-time within your document, and no information is stored by the Add-on after the formatting process is completed.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website or sending you a notification).
